Driving For Amazon Flex

Untitled designDriving for Amazon Flex

In my continuous search of way to earn extra money, I recently came across the Amazon Flex Program. Amazon Flex is hiring independent contractors, something like Uber, to deliver same day packages in select cities. In my opinion, this money making option is more appealing than working as an Uber driver since you will not be inviting strangers into your car.

I was excited when I found this opportunity – driving for the Amazon Flex Program – but unfortunately it is not available in my area. I thought I’d write a little bit about it here in hopes that it will help someone else improve their financial situation.

How it Works:

Drivers will have the flexibility to choose their hours (in 2 hour increments). During those hours you will be picking up items from a nearby Amazon facility and delivering to your local area. You will be delivering Amazon Now packages, which could be anything from electronics to food.

What is required of you:

  • Car
  • Driver’s license
  • Android smartphone
  • Must be 21 years old
  • Submit to a background check
  • An Amazon account

  • $18 -$25 hours

Where Available:

  • Seattle, Richmond, Nashville, Austin, Dallas, Baltimore, Miami, Atlanta, Houston, san Antonio, Las Vegas, Phoenix, Minneapolis, Indianapolis – plans to be available in NY, Chicago, and Portland soon.

How to Apply:

Go to flex.amazon.com to learn more and sign up.

If you are currently delivering packages for Amazon Flex, I would love to hear what you think of it. Please feel free to leave a message below.
